Summer is ending

As I am lying on my bed right now and typing this post, I'm still feeling the toll from the medications I had after being hit by high fever last night. Hopefully I will get well real soon, as I will be celebrating my advance 21st birthday with my family and relatives over this weekend. Probably it would be my only celebration this year and I gotta cherish it, and nonetheless I'm looking forward to yummy food :)

The summer holiday is coming to an end soon. For most of my friends, school would resume for them in 3 days time; whereas for me, I still have an extra week before my lessons officially commences on 21st August. I'm so glad I managed to get away with the whole process of CORS bidding this time round - such a relieve especially when I see everyone around me fretting over bidding during the orientation week. Hopefully everyone got their desired modules to take, and I'm glad I managed to get all my desired modules from UNC too back in March :)

These 3 months of holiday had been a fulfilling and fun one, and of course I had rested enough :) I get to know many people, be it through work or Science O'week. The work environment I was in back in May - July wasn't that good, but I'm glad I survived through. Nonetheless, participating in Science O'week was probably the highlight of my summer holiday this time round - I truly enjoyed myself; be it the prep-camp, pre-SOW preparations or the actual camp. I would really love to participate in it again next year if I have the time, after all you will definitely not get this kind of experience once university life is over.

Nonetheless, I am finally back for training this summer. And then I get to participate in the 2nd Asian University Water Polo Champs hosted in Singapore. The next one in 2014 would be hosted in Korea, totally like a cool :) I'm so looking forward to training with the UNC Women's team when I reach campus, it's going to be so much of an experience for me!
On the other hand, I find it quite a pity that I'm not able to spend more time with the friends closest to me. Everyone's busy with work I know that, but hopefully the friendships would not distant that much :( oh well, thats life!

Okay I'm still getting the drowsiness from my medications and I don't know what I'm typing already. Time to get some sleep again zzzzz. Till then!
