Life's short, so live it well

This week had been an awesome one; meeting up with various groups of friends be it for food hunting, doing some sports together or simply just to catch up with one another over a meal. Not forgetting also to meet new and nice people :)
Had a great catchup with my Bestie on Monday evening after work, especially through the HTHT over dinner. We were on the topic of the different groups of people entering and leaving in the diff. phases of our lives; and no doubt being inevitable and just part and parcel of life. I know I got to count my blessings for the friends that continue to stay by me, but at the same time I'm guilty for always not taking the initiative to text people first. Hopefully I will change this bad habit of mine and to cherish those friendships even more. Does every hello has to end with a goodbye? I hope not.

I'm glad also to be able to catch up with Kaye and Shawn too, albeit being an impromptu meetup. It would be one of the last few chances I'll get to catch up with Kaye before we won't be seeing each other for the next 6 months at least. I'm so going to miss this dear friend when she leaves for her summer school at Toronto in a week's time :( Nonetheless I'm glad I'm still as close to the both of them, still remember how we first started getting close a year back :)

The 2nd Asian University Water Polo Championship had started. Quite an experience for me I'd say, having the chance to play with teams from other countries. Perhaps this would be one of the last few Water Polo competition I'd be participating in already.. Wish I could do even better in this sport before I graduate.

On the same day I actually got to meet up with Jun De and Ernest before and after the event respectively. Really tiring having to rush here and there and making people wait for me, and worst still I was lost while otw to meet Ernest, but nonetheless it had been a good day :) Been so long since I last went chompchomp and its nice enjoying the Singapore food before we leave for the holidays/trips of our lives soon. Ernest would be visiting the Philippines & Australia in a few weeks time and I'm so jealous!! But we've booked each other for a backpacking trip together to Vietnam probably this year end, depending on when I'm back. See how things go then :)
Had a few games of tennis this morning with Ying Lin and her super nice friends, thanks Ying Lin for inviting me over. Had so much fun :) Had always wanted to play tennis so much but couldn't find people to play with me, and apparently this is just the 4th time I'm playing. Afterwhich I actually headed for a swim albeit being so tired from the tennis games, and as I'm typing this post, my legs felt so dead now. Had been under the sun these few days and I'm getting back my tann :)

I can't wait for work to end in 2 weeks plus and enjoy the remaining days of my summer!
