Beesy days Oh man, can't believed only 2 days of school have passed and I'm already feeling so damn shag. Have been so busy with the administration stuffs for exchange lately - finding professors and tutors to help with my recommendation letters, preparing the relevant documents for submission to Dean's office, as well as the official registration to UNC-CH. I hope I can get 90% of these stuffs done by this week as the real shit gonna kicks in next week with labs starting :( Gonna be sooooooooo busy... Anyway, I'm so glad the NUS staffs are so nice, all willing to help with my recommendation letters! Thanks Dr. Sreeni, Dr. Emelyn Tan and Mr. Han :) Okay anyway, Shawn is not with us in NUS this semester as he is currently in HK for exchange :( You will be missed Shawn!! Some of us went to send him off at the airport on Monday morning, and so glad the west-siders made it in time to catch him at the airport! It was a rather epic morning that day; with just 2 hours of sleep the night before, running to the guard's house (back gate was locked for security reasons and they doesn't wants to open for me since it was too early) and to the main gate and to the LRT station at Pending road, and then more running from the MRT station to catch the skytrain and finally to the departure gate. What a good morning run to kickstart the day! Send-offs are inevitably sad, but nevertheless shall catch you back soon during the summer holidays Shawn! Have fun in HK, with all the good food there :) Keep yourself warm, and be safe!! School ended at 6pm for us that day, and was so freaking tired that I felt I'm concussing any moment after taking my bath! At least today was a short day in school, with lessons ending at 12noon albeit having 8am lesson with the lecturer ending up giving some history on chemistry =.= Managed to catch a good nap in the late afternoon, and also an impromptu dinner with Ying Lin at Swensens :) Just nice I woke up from my sleep and received her message :) Really love chatting with this sweet lady, and hope you faster find your prince charming soon Ying Lin :D Hahahah |
