Simplicity is blissful

I want life to remain as simple as it is now.

Last Sunday was a fruitful day spent over @ Evergreen Place for NUS CSC Paint A House Event. I've to admit this is the first time I actually volunteered myself willingly for Community Service. Hopefully there will be more to come in future. We gave the home a new coat of paint, mural paintings, and we actually got to interact with the elderly there.
Couldn't really communicate with my elderly; tried communicating with her in Chinese but to no avail. Shawn tried helping me by speaking in Hokkien, but apparently he failed in communicating with her too! LOL. But at least Kaye's elderly and mine had fun disturbing each other, they are so funny!
Overall, this is really a good experience for me. I didn't have much opportunity in interacting with the elderly before this; as my grandparents are no longer around when I was at my tender age.
