Great summer experience Have been very tired from the tumultous amount of work since last week to have the energy to update my blog, plus the fact that I'm sick over the weekend. But now I'm back :) Anyway, I almost went crazy last Friday when technology reared its ugly head and became a bitch. Apparently a file that I've been working on for the past 2 weeks got corrupted and messed up my whole data. And yes, I've to do everything over again at X9999999999 of my original speed, and even have to work OT. The assistant director gave treat for the whole Customer Relations team on Tuesday afternoon as part of my advance farewell lunch. Got to knock off early at 4.30pm where Kenny drove Pauline, Claudia and I to Clementi Mall Swensens, whereas the others cabbed over. It was a good chat with them once again, together with some juicy gossips :) And I really got to know how despicable the business world can be from my assistant directior's past experiences. Now I realised those we saw in drama series are actually apparent in the real working world! Scary indeed. Nonetheless, they told me various interesting stuffs which I shan't divulge. Hehe. And today's the last day of my work in CSC. Mixed feelings to be honest. 2 months just passed by like that. I met really nice colleagues where we can just chat like normal friends, and now I really feels sad to leave just like that :( Nevertheless, it was an awesome experience for me; and at least I do reaped something useful back with me :) It was the best job for me thus far, and the 1st job so far that actually made me teared on my last day. I would have never known how myriad the ways business deals could be done if I have not been in CSC, but now I know :) I learnt how to prepare proposals, and really deals with 7 digit figures in the preparation of my Senior Executive's presentation slides. Nonetheless, its the awesome people here that really made me enjoy my stay here: Akhmad, Kenny, Angela, Claudia, Cerine, Tina, etc... Thank you all for everything! DON'T FORGET ME PLEASE :( I guess I'd be suffering from some CSC work withdrawal syndrome or something tomorrow. I REALLY DO MISSED MY COLLEAGUE EVEN LIKE NOW?!?!? Hopefully I'd have the opportunity to pop by and meet them up for lunch soon at Holland V someday. But I think probably I will take some time to get over this new adjustment to my current life. No more work, I should be happy!! :( Photo-taking session + random chit-chats with my CR team colleagues in the last hour before I left the office. They were like saying come back to work as a perm. staff when I graduated. HAHAH. Bidded my final farewell, but I just literally teared. I couldn't help it, you guys are too awesome :)      |
