Awesome week :) This week was probably the best week ever so far for me. Totally enjoyed myself ttvm :) I shall start off this post with Sunday? ![]() And with what the pictures above suggest, yes I'm officially part of the iPhone family. My Dad got it for me at a price of only $99 with his plan re-contracted, while he uses my 6 months old Nokia E72. Nice deal! I swear I'm an iPhone noob, and I don't really like its messaging system ): Nevermind, I will take time to adapt to it. Had my mobile plan upgraded to data plan, which means internet access everywhere! :) Greatttttt! Hit town on Tuesday before training with Mummy. Apparently my shopping spree failed because the higher-end shops are still selling winter clothings, which I guess I've to wait till Christmas is over before the Spring collections are out. Arghhhh can't wait for that, because I'm always fretting over what to wear when I go out these days as I'm sick of all the clothes in my wardrobe. And training was horribly crazy that day. My fitness deteriorated horribly over the week, and I wondered why :( I got scratched during game, and I've no idea by who because I was constantly marking different people. But it wasn't as bad as the previous time back in SA where I got scratched on the face. That was really FML seriously. HAHA. I met up with my lovely Bestie on Thursday afternoon! It was an impromptu decision made the day before! I really think that such impromptu decisions are really much more effective than plans made days/weeks before, because there are always stuffs that cocked-up at the very last minute which literally spoil everything. We had lunch at Pastamania as our budget was running low that day. I had my all-time favourite spicy chicken pasta :) Had a good chat and HTHT over lunch, catching up on each other's life; and I was complaining to Bestie how bad my life had been during Sem I :( Thanks Bestie for your listenining ear, you really made me feel much better after all these rantings to you! :) Did a little window shopping at Far East shopping centre before we chilled at Starbucks @ Wisma Atria - Step up 3 (it was our 2nd time watching) and photobooth on Bestie's Macbook pro :) ![]() ![]() ![]() I took Bestie to visit the Christmas tree outside ION orchard as she was like asking me "Do you know where is the Christmas tree here in Orchard that we can actually go inside?" She's sooooo damn cute! And if have noticed the picture, yes I'm so under-dressed that day. Sorry la, I really don't know what clothes to wear, plus the fact that I'm having training at night makes me feel like wearing something comfortable like flip-flops and shorts :) ![]() We went 313 @Somerset after the chilling session, and we bought couple shades over at Forever21! Ended up camwhoring with the shades at the MRT, and the people around must be thinking we are some crazy woman. But we just love doing retarded stuffs together ♥ HAHAHAHA. Thanks Bestie for making my day! XOXO ![]() ![]() I headed back NUS for training after that. The full pool at SRC was exclusively meant for us that day, which means we had full pool game! Took quite some time to set up the goalpost and lane ropes, and it was already 8.30pm when the game starts! Of course, there were mad sprints before that. The game didn't turned out as bad as we have quite a number of substitutes. But sadly I didn't get to play much as I had to leave at 9pm. Couldn't stay on late because I have to wake up early the next morning for Malaysia trip! TGIF! Woke up at 5am on Friday morning, and took train at Tanjong Pagar Railway station to Malaysia with my parents. The railway operation into the station will cease by 1 July 2011 FYI. My virgin experience of taking the train wasn't good. It was freakingly filthy I swear, the number of cockroaches I saw was uncountable. FML please. I seriously can't stand such creepy crawlies around, and I couldn't sit in peace throughout the journey there. I'm not trying to act like a bimbo here, perhaps I'm too used to the high standard of living in Singapore to be able to withstand such condition. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() We alighted at Kluang railway station, and it was already 11am by then. We had brunch over at the famous Kluang railway coffeeshop. I remembered our family used to go there frequently when we were young, as Kluang was my Mum's birthplace. We had the usual Nasi Lemak there. It was simple, and yet nostalgia. ![]() Roamed around the place after brunch, and up next, we had the old market Beef noodle. Yumyum :) Visited Kluang Mall, which was the largest shopping mall in Kluang, and had high tea over at Secret Recipe there. I swear that the stuffs there, especially food, are really cheap! You can't help but keep on eating. I reckon I'm going to grow fat really fast if I were to live in Malaysia! :B This trip is probably a quick getaway and escapism from the hustle and bustle of living in a modern city like Singapore. Nonetheless, it really brought back many nostalgic childhood memories :) I'm done with the X'mas cards :) Time to mail them out tomorrow, and prepare for the Christmas season! :) |
